Qatar Chairs10th meeting of GCC Standing Committee for Cybersecurity

The 10th meeting of the Standing Committee for Cybersecurity of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states kicked off Tuesday at the headquarters of General-Secretariat of GCC under the chairmanship of the State of Qatar.
The two-day meeting is chaired by the Director of the Economic and Cyber Crimes Combating Department at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior, Brig. Ali Hassan Al Kubaisi.
The meeting is set to discuss several topics on the agenda that primarily aim to reinforce the Gulf security action, including sharing expertise, the appropriate information-sharing mechanisms, training, and capacity-building, as well as upgrading the cutting-edge technologies for laboratories and digital evidence.
