Communications and Information Technology Minister Briefed on stc Group’s Efforts to Support Future of Digital Economy

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha and his delegation paid a visit today to the stc Group’s business accelerator, inspireU.

Al-Swaha was received by the Chairman of the Board of the stc Group Prince Mohammed bin Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, and CEO Olayan Mohammed Al-Wetaid as well as several other senior officials from the group.

During the visit, Al-Swaha was briefed on the role of the stc Group in promoting integration with incubated companies and the influential role of inspireU in supporting entrepreneurship, digital innovation and emerging technologies and the partnerships it has built with several companies, including Shfrh.net, SABRY and sirar by stc.

Al-Swaha commended stc Group’s contributions to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship through inspireU, which embraced more than 110 startup companies that contributed to achieving national goals in promoting digital transformation.
